The North Carolina system is the nation’s third largest community college network, enrolling 800,000 students statewide. As community colleges assume an expanding role in the delivery of career-oriented higher education, the need to create a stronger collegiate atmosphere through better defined open spaces and student amenities has become increasingly important.

The expertise of Lappas + Havener, PA to generate both campus master planning and detailed site designs has allowed us to contribute to the enhanced quality of the state’s community college campuses. Our plans grow out of each institution's academic and public service mission and are focused on creating more pleasing academic and creative environments for students, faculty and administrators.
