Nasher Museum of Art Duke University, Durham, North Carolina Located topographically atop a wooded knoll, the museum, with its crowning multi-faceted glass and steel roof, creates a new landmark for Duke University. Designed by world-acclaimed architect Raphael Vinoly, the museum stands as a building-in-a-clearing with sweeping walkways and vehicular approaches located to maximize the visitors’ appreciation of the building’s sculptural form.
